Time for something constructive!

I received a mail one fine morning from a friend Malini. I was pretty curious as we had never really emailed each other before.

The mail was a simple yet inspiring one... I couldn't help but smile and do whatever was written in the mail. And then I forwarded it to many more. No. It was not the typical Chain Mails you get. No one was going to die or get a phone call from a ghost if not forwarded.

It was quite simple and I quickly did what the mail had asked me to do. After which I forwarded the mail to more than 20 people just coz I wanted to share this with everyone...

Soon after messages, from people whom I don't even know, started pouring in... And each one meant a great deal to me at that very moment. It was as if the Universe was sending me clear answers to my questions...

I would like to share a few inspiring lines which I was lucky enough to receive...

"One of the hardest lessons in life is letting go. Whether it's guilt, anger, love, loss or betrayal. Change is never easy. We fight to hold on and we fight to let go." - Bandita

“In the infinity of life where I am,
All is perfect, whole and complete,
I no longer choose to believe in old limitations and lack, I now choose to begin to see myself
As the Universe sees me --- perfect, whole, and complete •••Louise L. Hay

"Your life is your message to the world. Make sure it's inspiring." - Veena

“Be grateful for what you have now. As you begin to think about all the things in your life you are grateful for, you will be amazed at the never ending thoughts that come back to you of more things to be grateful for. You have to make a start, and then the law of attraction will receive those grateful thoughts and give you more just like them.”
- Hemali

The amazing thing about this concept is that I do not know these people! But to have received such messages from complete strangers gave me some meaning in life... Helped me get some clarity in my thoughts... :) I am grateful to the Universe...

If you are curious and would like to receive the mail, then leave your email address in the comment box below and I will send it to you. Even after receiving it there is no compulsion for you to follow it! :)

Love,
Pri

Hey Soul Sister

I'm so glad you have
A one track mind like me
You gave my life direction
A game show love connection
We can't deny

- Hey Soul Sister (Train)

To be true, to be you,
Is the best that we can do
With you in my life,
I am one of the Lucky few.

Love you Ritika and Srishti... The best Sisters God could have ever given anyone... :D

Love Like No Other

Love peeped through the window
And blushed by what it saw
Love tiptoed to hear closely
And heard a Melodious Rhythm

Love heard the doors open
And hid behind the curtains
Love heard footsteps come in
And was confused to the core

Love felt scared, what if it gets hurt?
But a part of Love wanted to be found.
Love was lost in it's own web of thoughts
When someone pulled it out

Love saw a beetle eyed boy
Staring at it with glee
The boy held it tight, afraid to let go
He went to the bed, and sat beside her

Love saw a Little girl fast asleep
The boy shook the girl to wake her up
He seemed excited, Love became anxious
She woke up and rubbed her eyes

Love saw in her eyes, the reflection of the boy
Was it a lake? A River? A Mirror?
Her eyes met his, and he took her hands
Love felt safe, between their two palms

It knew it instantly,
That it was a Love Like No Other

Wedding Photographer - Episode 1

Shreela Weds Akhil

This was my 1st ever Mallu Wedding. I had never attended one before. And here I was, ready with my camera, all set to shoot one!

The bride, Shreela, was initially pretty tensed. Her Bhabhi kept cheering her up as she was getting ready. Every time she would smile, our cameras would go up and click click click.... :D

At the venue of the wedding, she was welcomed with beautifully lit diyas and shehnais. The groom, Akhil, was so excited to get married. His joy reflected on his face. One look at him and Shreela forgot all her worries. :)

My first experience as an official Wedding Photographer with The Cheesecake Project was amazing. Capturing those precious moments gave me an immense sense of satisfaction. Looking at the couple, I told myself in my mind, "I want to be the Happy Bride just like her."

While wrapping up when Shreela was browsing through the photos, she exclaimed with joy and surprise, "Shit! I am married! No more sneaking around to meet each other!" That is definitely the cutest and the most real moment when it actually sinks in that you are finally married to the man you love. :)

Lootera - NOT A Review.

Ok, before you start wearing your Judgemental Hats, let me be very clear. I am NOT reviewing this film. I am simply writing about what I felt while watching the movie. So, now if you are still interested, you are welcome to read on further and hopefully with an open mind. :)

I know that the movie has received a lot of mixed reviews. Many have hated it while many have fallen in love with it. For me it took me back to my childhood.
