Will rallying around in the city in white clothes and black bands bring back the dead? Will joining communities and groups on social networking sites against 26/11 change the minds of the terrorists and compel them to repel? Will sitting with our friends, hurling abuses at the terrorists bring any change in this world?
I am sorry, but I don’t think so. To protest we needn’t raise our voices. The “anger” that everyone says they have against the terrorists, is actually just a weak spark which fizzles out as soon as the day is over and you go back to your daily life.
The other alternative is to play the “Blame Game”. It satisfies us a lot putting all the blame on our “impotent” Government. Guys open your eyes! This is the Government that we ourselves have made to govern our country. So instead of accusing them, can’t we contribute and help them?
The only true way to protest and bring about a change will be to make an effort and do something constructive. Let’s be different from those Terrorists. Instead of negativity, why not use positivity and eradicate the root cause of this problem?
Terrorists are not born, they are inculcated. Sometimes due to unfavourable conditions and sometimes enforced by others. An infant does not come into this world with the knowledge of using an AK47 to kill the innocent. He is taught to use it as he grows up.
Then why not do something to build a barrier between the period of innocence of infancy and the period of transformation into an inhuman? Why don’t we start with giving each kid of our country the right education and show each one the path of righteousness without discriminating? Can’t we at least do this much? Can’t we at least ensure that our children of India, whether from the slums or from well-off families, are guided properly so that none of them grow up into one of those whom we are cursing right now?
If you really feel the urge to help the people who lost their loved ones in the tragedy, then go ahead, meet at least one or two families and comfort them with your words, help them with finance, or just boost their morale with your support. Even this is not compulsory. If you feel the pain, just your simple silent prayers can work better than just cribbing.
C’mon, we can do it…. Let’s not let the victims and the martyrs die in vain on 26th November 2008. Let’s take this incident to build a strong motive to make ourselves stronger and more united as a nation. We can fight against terrorism together…. We don’t need to publicise to others what we are doing…. We don’t need to prove anyone anything…. Just do it…. Yourself…. Each one of us can do it…. If only we take out a few hours from our lives to ensure that the youngsters of India bring about a better and secured future to this nation……

point #1 : Terrorists causing 26/11 weren't Indian. so there goes your point of we building a barrier between the infancy and inhumanity will not stand ground. however, in the case of religious intolerance like riots or incidents like the bomb blasts in 92-93 in Bombay, then the point of putting a barrier will come into question.

the naxals are people who have their women raped and men slaughtered by state sponsored organizations like the 'Salwa Judum'. you expect them to stay oppressed?
they and other people like those from north eastern states are fucked routinely and so they resort to violence.
and also cause the mainstream ignores them and abhors them.
the indians helping the pakistani terrorists may also be cause of the same sentiments in a religious sense OR THEY may have done so for the money..we can just speculate.
naxals and north eastern staes are too far away from the city of mumbai to be doing "some actions" to prevent the children from being ones.
